This test provides insight into abstract problem solving and analytical abilities. The test can be used in selection procedures, particularly for job positions where the ability to reason logically about nonverbal content is important.
The tasks consist of a large shape above a number of small shapes. In the large shape is an empty space, a shape must be chosen out of the small shapes, so that it fits in this empty space to make one logical whole.
This intelligence or ability test is relevant for job positions in which people must solve problems. The test is best performed at secondary education level. For higher levels of education, Figure Sets TPI is a better option.
