Non-Verbal Analogies TPI measure abstract reasoning ability. The test can be used in selection procedures, especially for job positions in which abstract reasoning ability is required.
This test has been developed by Peter Tellegen (RuG) and is an adaptation of a test for the deaf and hearing impaired which is deployed worldwide. The test is Reduced Culture Sensitive (RCS). This means that the sociocultural backgrounds of candidates have a weaker effect.

Example question

The tasks consist of a geometrical shape that undergoes a specific change. A second shape must undergo exactly the same change. A shape must be chosen out of four possible answers that undergoes the same changes.
